Where did your name come from?

my for-real name is Adrian Nicholas de Vera. my dad once mentioned i was named after filipino writers Adrian Cristobal and Nick Joaquin. not sure anymore, dad embellished, but it fits, i know dad was truly a fan of those writers.

i’ve read a fair bit of both, cristobal has a cool classic style. nick joaquion is more amorphous, couldn’t pin him down even though i’ve read more of his work.
